Controls

Superkrass keeps the buttons to a minimum on purpose. You're here to fight, not to memorise combos. Still, those four inputs go deeper than they look at first.

The layout

On phone or tablet:

• On the left side, you steer with the joystick. It appears right where your thumb lands. Use it to move in any direction.
• Bottom right is the big attack button.
• Next to it is Dash. The Ulti button shows up as soon as your Ulti is full.
• Ultra bosses also have a Stun button.
• If you've equipped boosters, they show up as two buttons on the right, above the action buttons.

On a computer with a keyboard:

Moving

The joystick responds to how far you push it. Even a small push gets you moving. Further out, you run at full speed. Positioning is half the battle. Get stuck in a corner and you'll be boxed in fast. Keep moving and don't just walk straight at your opponent.

Attack

There's one attack button. A quick tap attacks the nearest opponent. Drag from the button to aim yourself, and the attack goes that way when you let go. Hold the button to charge a stronger attack. What the attack looks like depends on the boss. Some bosses hit up close, others keep their distance. Try every new boss in a link duel with a friend first. It costs nothing there.

Dash

Dash is a short, quick burst in the direction you're holding the joystick. Use it to dodge, back off or close in by surprise. After you use it, it takes a moment to be ready again. Depending on the boss, that's between one and about one and a half seconds. Waste it and you're briefly left with no way out.

Ulti

Ulti is your strongest move. It isn't always available. Your Ulti charges when you hit your opponent. On TikTok LIVE, likes, follows and shares charge it too. As soon as it's full, the Ulti button appears. When you fire it often decides the round. Good moments are right after your opponent has burned their Dash, or when they can't get out of the way anymore.

Boosters

Before the duel you can equip two boosters. During the duel you trigger them with a button. Each booster works once per round and is used up when you use it. Details are in Boosters.

If the controls feel off

1. Hold your phone upright. Superkrass is played in portrait mode.
2. Close other apps and tabs. If your device is struggling, input suffers.
3. Reload the page. Your progress stays saved.
4. Check your connection. On a bad network it often feels like a button isn't working when the real problem is lag.
